Jill Seppa – Owner & Stylist
Jill, a Block Island year round resident with a family of 5, sure keeps busy with all things wellness related. She came on board at Koru as the manager and “guru of all things Spa” in 2009 and eventually worked her way into owning Koru in 2014. Last winter, loving the industry so much she attended Paul Mitchell the School Rhode Island to receive her cosmetology certification to support a closer connection with her guests and a more hands on experience to each service. In her education, her team won best all around hair and make-up at the Muse fashion show and she attended Caper 2015, an additional educational experience amongst some of the most accomplished students and platform artists in the industry. Her passion for wellness and all things beauty is evident in her tag line, “be your own kind of beautiful”. During her time away from the spa, she can be found spending time with her family enjoying the natural beauty of the Island. ​
BrandiLyn Brady- Esthetician/Manicurist
Brandilyn, joined the team in August 2014 and has been bring cheer and expertise to her clients. As a Spa owner from Connecticut, she brings extensive experience and comforting services to our guests. Her healing touch in facials is both relaxing and leaves your skin radiant. She uses the nu-free wax system which is a wax that has anitbiotic properties as well is gentle to the delicate areas of the skin.  Her lower leg massage, which is part of the 80 minute facials is not to be missed!
Joan Davidson – Massage Therapist
Joan was a member of the 2010 staff and is back again to bless us all with her delicate demeanor and strong hands. Don’t underestimate the healing and power that can transform you with her healing touch. Originally trained in London, Joan has been a massage therapist for the past 15 years. She has practiced in the U.K., Jamaica, Miami and now travels between NYC, Fort Lauderdale and Block Island offering massages to clients. With her inherent sense of knowing, her massages seem guided, resulting in a focused and thorough treatment. Each bodywork session is a combination of various modalities, including Acupressure, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Reiki. Her therapeutic touch is tailored to the client’s needs. Her expertise covers a wide range of individuals, including children, celebrities, professional athletes (Miami Dolphins), and high powered office executives. Joan’s vision is to be a facilitator for the reconnection of body, mind and spirit. “My passion is to recreate a sense of Oneness in as many persons as I can touch. Touching people’s lives is indeed an Honor!”
Gina Lepore – Massage Therapist 
Gina studied Massage Therapy at the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga in North Carolina in 2007. It was there that she learned to include the philosophy and ethics of Yoga into her massage practice as well as in her every day life. She went on to study various specialties including Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Massage Cupping, Warm and Sacred Stone, Thai, and Reflexology. In 2010, she became a Certified Yoga Teacher trained in Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative Yoga. Her massages are in-depth with a focus on anatomy and bringing the body back into proper postural alignment. Getting people out of pain is her first priority and the second is sharing the benefits of relaxation with her clients. She’s passionate about the science behind relaxation and how essential it is in the healing process. Gina lives in Vermont in the winter months, skiing and providing massage for the Killington Resort and Spa. Gina has been with Koru since the beginning and is an integral part of our commitment to the highest standard of spa services and eco consciousness.
Nel Barnicoat – Nail Technician
Nel is a Block Island year round resident. She will be fielding the all important, “What’s it like in the winter?”, question all season. She has two little boys which occupy most of her time so we are super thankful she joined our team to offer you her expertise. She was an original member of the Koru Team when we opened in 2007 and is back to offer the ultimate in pampering manicures and pedicures, her tag line seems to be, “It’s all about you!”
Jenn Blais – Nail Technician & Front Desk Professional
Jenn Blais, a Rhode Island native, attended Lincoln Technical School in Cumberland, RI. Last summer was her first summer and Koru is fortunate to have her back for her second year. She is a great color and design consultant so whether your looking for some fun nail designs or just a complete basic nail service, she will have you looking and feeling pampered in no time. She also brings a great welcoming demeanor and can sometimes be found behind the desk making appointments or designing new brochures. She’s got an eye for it all!
